Reports of bass have been few and far between, especially within the harbour itself. No doubt this is due to the effects of the long hard winter as water temperatures are well below normal. Those that have been caught have been winkled out with either crab or worm baits fished hard on the bottom. Well on the last day before the bass ban kicked in the Treasurer of Cobh SAC got lucky.
